Работы великих восточных классиков оказали значительное влияние на казахский фольклор и письменную литературу. Многие казахские сказки основаны на сюжетах и мотивах классических произведений персидско-таджикской литературы, в частности, на мотивах «Шах-наме» Фирдоуси, «Рустем Батыр», «Джусип и Злиха», «Бахрам Гур».Библиографические ссылки
