The specifics of the genre of Chinese curses

Abstract

 This article is given an analysis of Chinese imprecation styles and found out thematic range of this imprecations, their   usage in folklore and in modern Chinese language. The work was based on the texts of imprecations, preserved in different collections of ethnographic and folklore studies. The article aims to conduct a research of imprecations in Chinese language, within linguo-cognitive  and linguo-cultural approaches and identify the cultural identity of Chinese people.
