TO THE PROBLEM OF THE DEFINITION OF CULTURAL POLICY

Abstract

This article describes the definition of «cultural policy» in the works of cultural studies experts, so- ciologists and political scientists. The article also analyzes models of interaction between the state and cultural policy. Also research of phenomena of «cultural policy» is necessary for Kazakhstan’s science and it will be a solid basis for successful carrying out of the state policy based on the «Course towards: The future modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity» (in Kazakh: Rukhani zhangyru). The method of collection and analysis of scientific literature, the method of theoretical analysis were used in the work.
