The authors examined the problems and possibilities of developing intra-regional cooperation and interaction in the space of the Central Asian region, taking into account the complex geopolitical situation in the world. An evaluation of internal and external factors in the development of the region under consideration on brief and medium-term prospects. The SWOT analysis of the development of regional cooperation of the Central Asian states has been developed. The SWOT matrix takes into account the main vectors of the assessment: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. According to which it was identified by the creation of institutions for the development of joint integrated cooperation programs of the Central Asian countries (CD). This is important for conducting a coordinated and coordinated general -corneal political strategy and tactics in the country, regional, interregional and global dimensions. The need for the formation of the basics of trust in solving general regional problems, primarily regarding the collective security of all subjects of the Central Asian field using a wide range of diplomatic instruments, is especially noted. In addition, in the context of modern global risks and challenges, the region is legitimate and it is necessary to concentrate its own resources and potential on solving priority internal issues and problems.
